Cat Day 7by emily212Comment: This image will be a good one to try processing skills with. the eyes need some work, and the hi-lights on the jacket sleeve.
I generally try to take animal shots from their eye level, and it helps to make the animal look more personable.
I am waiting to see what you do with this one. Good looking cat. I had one named "Bear cat" that looked almost exactly the same. |

Star editedby MelethiaComment: You made a gem from a rough stone with this one. I need to learn about layering in order to present some of my images in better fashion. I like images with geometric shapes, and this one is full. |

Minimal Edit PAD 3 "Alligator and Turtles"by noranekoComment: Cool shot! This is a scene worth waiting for. They do this sort of thing when the water is cool and the sun is shining and warming a place for them to sunbathe. I have seen turtles do this in groups, and gators, but not exactly like this, all in a group. |

IMG_9324 outta-here-s4w.jpgby rozComment: That was quite a major processing operation. The selective desat helped get the focus where you wanted it.
You usually seem to post landscapes, which I guess is your fav shooting style. It takes a lot of practice to get comfortable and good at shooting moving subjects. I still can't rememeber to check all of my camera settings before shooting action shots like this. I tend to get excited about capturing the scene before it is gone, and just compose and click away. |

Day 8 - Prowby xianartComment: Love the plain sky that does not detract from the details of the boat, and the straight on POV.
You deserve to be "prowd" of this image. |

Self Portrait Editedby TCGuruComment: The crop plus changing the background color, and then the arms where they are makes the image look almost 3D. The slight shadow along the cheeks also adds to the effect. Wider aperture for shallower DOF would make the effect even stronger.
The edit makes a very powerful looking image. You make a good model too. Pretty face, esp your eyes.

Yuccaby LevTComment: You have given me an idea. I wonder what this would look like if you shot a longer exposure, and zoomed during the exposure. Cool looking image as it is. No way to look away from the center. |

Crimson Flaresby JutildaComment: Congrats on an excellent flower shot, and a good finish in the challenge. This is a very clean looking shot for basic editing. I like the way you used the dark area to accent the shapes of the petals. |
