You were right about this being a beautiful scene. I like the rolling hills under the heavy cloud cover and the very rural looking homes there. The light really works to bring out the foreground area in this one, and the dark foreboding clouds add a lot of drama and energy to the top half. I wouldn't complain if my images had this much sharpness, this is fine at this size. Maybe blown up you can see edges, but it looks plenty sharp to me. Good capture. Waiting pays off again.

Just lovely! The increase in the light from the window and thru the curtain brings this to the perfect level to convey the emotion well without being depressing as with the darker original. The title is just excellent for this image.

This is beautiful. I noticed that lately you are also shooting at what appears to be "low" exposure in order to keep the highlights. Excellent processing. It gives this image the lost forest look.

Very "Roz Classy" processing on this image. You seem to truly have a good understanding about which tools to use to get what you want from an image.
I shot one last weekend almost like this. I will post it for you in my portfolio tonight.

Just the crop and the low camera angle, using the car as a backdrop makes this one into a very catchy image. The other adjustments to levels and such add another dose of good to it.

Nice job of getting this one back from the twilight, which is where I shoot a lot as I try to stay out of the "blown highlight" zone. I like the border too.
Kiska looks a lot like a stray dog that I had for years. He was a fine dog, but loved to bark and dig holes, so I named him "Stupidyellowbarkingholediggin'dog". He liked that.

Wow! This went right from "blah" to "Yah!"
Very nice dress up job on this image. I took me a minute to decide if I liked the border or "note" too, but I like it.

Roz, You're killing me with the sheep pics. This is just wonderful. Excellent job of making a good image into a fine image. Love the gradient desat.

Excellent time of day to shoot this scene. I see that the tide was very low, which allowed you to get the angle that would make the scene look good too.
I notice that the actual "lighthouse" part of the tower looks almost exactly like the one that is at Fort Jefferson Nat'l Monument, in the Dry Tortugas, off Key West. They must have been building them from a pattern at the time that this one was constructed.

Very nice edit for this image! Great color combo, and the edges fading bring the center subjects right out front of the deep blue.
