Yellow, Nailed.by cogeroxComment: Beautiful nonsense, so it fits the challenge. Everything else about it is superb, color, composition, the idea, the lighting and processing.

Underwaterby GeneralEComment: 2nd worst scoring? You just gave me an idea though. If you enter one that everyone will have to rate 3 or lower, then you can get tons of comments because of the voting rules LOL.

My First Canonby mpetersComment: Great camera, I used the same model for about 30 years without a glitch or any kind of repair. I also had a TX, which is similar but simpler.
Well exposed, and like the "Dr" says, one side is closer to the lens, making it a little skewey.

West Palm Beachby senor_kasperComment: I like the detail in the foreground in this, and the blue everywhere looks good too. Most sunsets have a lot of orange or some red in them, so this is a refreshing view.
This brings back some good memories. I lived near Okechobee Blvd for a few years around 1970, and it looks like the Southern Blvd bridge to Palm Beach on the left edge. If the twin buildings are "Arcona", I worked on them when they were being built. They were the tallest in the area at that time at 37 floors. |

Reflective Paletteby sherpetComment: What a color explosion. It looks very much like a painting. You tend to find the most colorful things to photograph. |

MinimalDay20Web1by cogeroxComment: I like the colorful cups, and the way you used the background paper to show them off. This image has me thinking about how to get this shot without getting a reflection in the darker cup. I am not a studio shooter at all, but there are many tricks used in the studio that I feel that would help me when shooting in the field. I find it interesting the way side light and exposure makes the black background look brown on my monitor. I also like that you made use of the complimentery colors of trim bands on the tops of the mugs by shooting from a bit above the tops. It's a good image, and makes me think about coffee. Mental response by the viewer is what good photography is about. |

MinimalDay21Web1.jpgby cogeroxComment: I like the way the valley brings the background right on top of the foreground without much in the middle in this image. With the right sky and lighting conditions this would be a very striking image. The light that you had at the time does bring out the contours of the scene well just as you have it here. It looks like it will be easy to use P S to class this image up. |

MinimalDay21.1Web1by cogeroxComment: Wide aperture isolates the subject nicely in this image. I like the light from above and behind shining thru the flower and reflecting off the web as well. The web adds to the effect by helping to show the size of the flower. |
