Boyby xianartComment: This is a class shot! The shallow DOF and the blur pulling the viewer right into the perfect eyes is just powerful. The desat works too. This should have been used in a free study challenge. |

Day Fiveby Bear_MusicComment: Hmmm? I can't say for sure what it is, but it certainly meets the challenge criteria. There is not even a hint in the title. You stumped me.
I see that this was shot at small aperture by the little pepper particles which seem to be in focus.
That was a good comment about the fly fishing image. It did look rather ordinary, and with no particular area of great interest. You got me think about it. Thanks. |

SD4: Exit Stage Left!!by cginoComment: This looks like a catnip moment for sure. I understand about tracking the animal with a long lens. It is difficult to frame a running shot like this, so as the General says, zoom out and crop later gives the best chances to get the shot.
I like the action. It makes you wonder what they are imagining when the act like this. |

Dance Practiceby bob350Comment: The light being centered behind the subject really helps this image. I think you achieved capturing the spirit of the dance move.
Did you try some at shorter shutter speeds? |

Day 1 IMG_0118.jpgby JerseyGenieComment: I can see why you liked this image. The surface of the water is the captivating part of it for me. The ducks being partly out of the frame is a little distracting, but that is just a nit to pick at. Very peaceful looking scene, and the blur helps it to have the "ahhh" quality. |

Day 4 - Trampled, Take Iby Bruce_the_RobertComment: This is an interesting effect in the way you used it with the statue. I feel that it was a good choice of positioning to line up on the foreleg of the horse, as it helps tie the image in with the title, and with the desired reaction to viewing it. Good thinking went into shooting this image. |

gorkby yankoComment: Excellent and abstract. I would try shooting a few at small aperture and stronger flash to see if I could get the eyes to "star". The OOF blur would be difficult though at smaller aperture. Maybe if you use a star filter, or piece of brass screen over the lens it would would get the effect. |

Moonlit Madnessby annigComment: I like night shots, and this is a good one. The purple fringe around the edges of the trees makes it special. Moonlight images seem to have a shadowless quality that seems so serene.
If you can view the shooting info, it is sometimes helpful to other photographers to include it with the images when you upload them. I am guessing that this was about 30 seconds at 400 iso, f 5.6 ? |

DSC_0056 Riposo Wine Glasses N.jpgby pawdrixComment: Good colors and light thru the items make it interesting and pleasing. I think I would crop to just the two glasses, and the head behind, and call it "Wine Demons". Nice composition, with the reflections and the green background. |
