This is a butt kickin' image. I also like "dark' images a lot, but normally they go "thud" when they hit the bottom in the challenges here. This is just excellent! The eyes are the key here.

This is a very nice abstract of color and shapes. I like that the softness takes the edge off any details, so that you can sort of absorb the image instead of studying it.

That is a nice pan shot, keeping the boat relatively sharp, and letting everything else slide by a bit. I also like the little burst of red and white in an otherwise plain looking scene.

That is an intresting combination you are shooting with. I had to look up the CP8800 to see what it was. Shooting in NM helps a lot I would guess, as it is normally a bit hazy here in Florida. I am curious about the HP gadget, which I would guess was quite expensive. I have moon shots with a 1,000 f11 Meade mirror lens, and it was not this clear at 100% crop. Part of that was due to camera shake, as the S3Pro has no mirror lockup, and the rest atmospheric interference. I have not experimented with it in the winter yet, as I haven't had it that long. The sky is better here in the winter.
