Down-a-Country-Road.jpgby IvoryComment: You scatter light like magic splashes thru your exquisite images. You have "Rural" in your heart, and it shows in your images. |

Dawns Poetic Lightby IvoryComment: I look for places where the sun is shining thru the trees and lighting patches of ground and plants as they are in this image. Beautiful. |

MixedMessagesby rozComment: I also thought that I had commented on this image. Did you take it out, and repost it?
This is a fine image without any explanation, but with the title, it's a knockout. I also like the desat. It does not need sharpening, as the softness adds to the overall effect and mood. Table top POV is perfect. |

Century old labourby QuigleyComment: I see that you also like to shoot glimpses into the fast disappearing past.
The school that I graduated from 40 years ago was torn down this month to make way for a new one. |

A Quick Descentby dahvedComment: It fits this "Blur" side challenge very well. There is big fun going on in this image. I can almost hear the squeals of pleasure. |

sept-15-Restricted.jpgby JerseyGenieComment: This looks like a bit of a clandestine spy mission in progress. It's just clear enough to read the sign on the gate. This scene must be near the ocean. The corrosion on all the steel is a hint. |

Late summer field and mountainsby bob350Comment: I like the pastel shades in this too. The "Impressionism" challenge was a fun learning experience for everyone. Not to say that the scores couldn't have been better, but it seems that the perception of impressionism depends a lot on the individual and their experiences. I rather like seeing things not quite in focus sometimes, as in real life, we do not always have the time to see and focus on every scene that we see. Impressionism seems to cover that aspect of our life experiences well. |

Skater Boyby JutildaComment: Just right! Like the black and white too. It looks like skateboarding in snow. |
