Excellent image, and as you say, not the normal shot of a hummingbird. I shot one of a couple of birds flying and contrasted it to about this level. I agree with your concept and like the finished image.

You have done a nice job here getting all the detail in the corn to stand out so sharply. I see by the shadows that you were shooting into the light, so the shadow detail in the corn is not just a lucky shot.

The electric purple glow is great for this shot, and the way the brightness in the sky lines up with the wires makes it even better. It fits the challenge theme well. Good finish, Congrats!

Very nice bokeh. The one point of sharpness seems to start the view of the whole image, and it goes into the broad color bokeh from there.

This seems almost animal due to the shapes. For some reason it reminds me of a snail up very close. Lovely colors and forms in this.

This must have been shot at one of the springs in centeral Florida. That blue green look to the water is typical of them due to the lime in the water. Excellent view of a manatee.
