You did a good job of getting this image to look like it does, after reading your description of what you had to work with. The blue in the one corner and the dark rock in the other gives a nice balanced feel to the shot. |

07 - Steam from Wood Chipsby ErikVComment: It's nice that you put the trees in the background in this shot to give some perspective. One of my friends runs a compost business, and the windrows are about 140 deg F in the middle. It seems like a great energy source that no one has tapped yet. They compost about 20 tractor trailer loads per day.

Nov-05-IMG_0033.jpgby JerseyGenieComment: Water does not always run downhill does it? My impression from the thumbnail shot was that this was going to be an aerial photo. It's a nice surprise, and the slant helps make it intresting to me. I also like the see thru border. |

Drops on Roseby pjangelComment: It looks like an ant is looking at you thru the big drop on the right edge of the flower. I agree that the dark area in the corner is not adding to the beauty of the overall scene. For some reason, I want to stop and smell the flower. |

Nov 3 - Millby hajekaComment: I sort of like the cloud shadow in the area between you and the mill. It moves my vision up to the subjects just under the sky in the image. There is a lot of depth in this image. |

I understand that moving closer may not have been comfortable though. Excellent viewpoint down close to the breaking wave in this shot. |
