Great! I like this a lot. It seems very difficult to get a shot of a group of birds without the image looking rather sparce. You framed this so that you have an image full of life, with enough space open to keep it from looking like just a solid clump of feathers. It's also nice that they are all flying the same direction.

23 - Pod

I like the detail in the seed pod, and the composition of this image. The water is overexposed, losing the exquisite textures of the snow particles at the center of the snow. It's a tough trick to shoot snow with anything else because it is so strongly reflective. I generally shoot it at the highest EV level that I can see the detail in the snow when doing macro, then bring levels up on the other things in the shot in processing.
You may want to shoot with wide dynamic range setting with the D80 when shooting snow too, which will also help with that. There is huge EV range between the black stem and the brilliant white snow in this shot.

Winter Geese Fields

The sky certainly looks ominous in this shot, but the geese look very happy. That is a lot of geese. We never see them in Florida in the wild.

That is a beautiful place. The water must be cold. I don't see anyone out in it.
The low angle on the grass in the foreground sets up a line that leads right out to the horizon. That is good composition.

Camera therapy? I want to have a closer look at the gate posts on the right to see if there are some good images to be found there. Lovely treatment of the edges of the road, with the contrast accented.
