20 - Fire Hydrant Abstractby BudComment: This is a good find. I like the bright red over the covering of leaves on the ground. I think that I would have tried to make something of the name on top of the hydrant, either in the image, or with the title. |

day 20. december slice of life. stalkingby rozComment: You are a good bug hunter. They look like little aliens when you shoot this kind of macro. It's interesting how the stripes match on the two critters. Excellent DOF for this shot.

Leaves .jpgby TheresaAComment: Just right. Not so many leaves that it makes the image overly complex. I am guessing that this was hand held in not too bright light.
A tripod and using smaller aperture would have taken care of the unsharpness, unless of course the bit of blur is what you were wanting.
This has good composition. |
