Great Gray Owlby stargazer05766Comment: The eyes are a little disturbing in this shot, but otherwise, excellent capture of the feathers. The expression is almost funny. Replacing the background with a smooth blue would make it difficult to say if this was shot in the wild or not. |

Brilleauby JedusiComment: The tree is a cute touch. That looks like about a 30 ft boat, and it seems to be sitting very low in the water. I like the haze behind it. It seems to be foggy or a misting rain coming from the other side of the river. I feel that it all looks just about right for a winter's day on the water. It sure looks cold there. |

I lived near Durham, at Gardner, for a while a long time ago. It's a pretty area of the country. |

Day 27 ~Barn~by JeniYComment: Old barns are camera magnets. The dark ground and bleak sky in this shot help a lot to bring out the barn in all it's detail. I also like that you included the second building, as it adds a lot to the scale of the place in the shot. |
