This is a beautiful bird, but those toes can be very dangerous. I read that the male takes over the nest and runs the female off. He can sit on the nest for up to 55 days without eating drinking or pooping. No wonder they have a bad temper. : )

This shot is excellent! I like the way the feathers are covering the feet to hold in the heat. Beautiful bird, and a very clear shot.

This is a sweet moment and you captured it beautifully. The blue background is right for this. Cockatiels can be most endearing birds, and many of them love to whistle tunes or talk.

This is a beautiful shot of this little guy. They look a lot like our birds called kingfishers. The kingfishers catch small fish to eat. I see someone has already said this : )

This is an eye catching image. The only tech detail that I see is that the window bars are visible thru the head in the shot. Putting the red can in an otherwise sepia image makes it stand out nicely.

Day 30 ~Farm~

Good barns are relatively rare here in South Florida because most of them were pole sheds, and there is no reason to keep livestock indoors during the winter here. I enjoy seeing barn photos, and this one is a very classic shot.
Your border and processing are just the right touch to bring out the "winter" in the photo. It would have been nice to see the top of the tree on the left, but that would have made the barn smaller in the image, so you did the right thing.
