That's a cool shot, the dark owl and those eyes against the light background really give it a menacing look. Thanks for sharing a slice of your life! |

This shot is excellent! I like the way the feathers are covering the feet to hold in the heat. Beautiful bird, and a very clear shot.
Here is what they look like as babies: , and they make the cutest noises when trying to learn to hoot. |

Very cool horned owl - I like the processing and the fact that you were able to isolate it so much. I love VINS - it is worth a visit, especially since it is so close to Simon Pierce, Woodstock, and the Quechee gorge. Nice work! |

Did you find him in the wild!? He is awesome!! I saw an owl myself this weekend, not nearly close enough to get a shot like this though. Simply awesome :) |
