Southern Masked Weaverby sulamkComment: They are very pretty. I see the drops of water hanging on the plant. Nice shot, and a good share because we do not have this breed of bird in the wild where any of the rest of us live. |

Lombise Churchby SnapperLComment: That's a beautiful old building. There is a lot of history to the area you live in. I would not have known about the 3 exposure capture, except that the shadow areas in the foreground look so nice. Is that a crack that runs all the way across the building? |

Winter Sunlight & Fenceby annigComment: This looks fine to me. Sometimes for a shot into the light like this, I use the smallest amount of on camera flash to fill the deep shadows on the subject. That way the darkest areas in the foreground don't have the noise/grain when I bring them lighter in PP. |

Where I work Day 5.jpgby slaaksoComment: We could certainly use some of that rain here in South Florida. This must be a very relaxing view for you to see daily, even when it is rainy.
I am not sure what it is about the curved walkway, but it seems to move my focus into the photo and back out to the edge somehow. Maybe it's just the way my feeeble brain works? My eyes want to follow it to see where it goes. |

In a Hurry Day 5by riversongComment: That is a pretty place, from here ; ) It seems the sort of place that I would love to visit for a week during the winter, then come back to Florida. I would think that it is beautiful there all year, except when all this snow is melting. |

Our Kitchen by pjangelComment: That's tidy. I like the cabinets the gas stove, and the layout of the kitchen. My wifey wants me to build one just like it for her now LOL. |

Just regular winter in Canadaby AdiGriComment: Just think of all the snowmen you could make with that. I like the tall grass with tassels in this shot, and it looks like good landscaping where the steps go up. |

day_5-2432.jpgby griz210Comment: That sounds like just an excellent place for children to learn about life on the farm. The building looks very good here with the bright blue sky and the walk in the front making it stand out. |

6 - Power Plantby ErikVComment: That place looks like something right out of the 40's or 50's all right. I like the image as a look at where you live. The composition with the rock in the foreground and then the plant going the other way works, and the rail with ice is just good stuff. |

The lockby ValdoComment: This is a different looking neighborhood. Not everyone has a lock on the door and another in their yard. : D
This angle shows the lock very nicely, and I like the way the buildings blend into the whole image. I would like to learn more about, or see the lock in operation sometime with a few sentences about what's going on. |
