 Once again the Cleveland lakefront. This is the power plant I previously mentioned which uses water for cooling and then discharges the warmed up water. The warmer water attracts fish which in turn attracts the birds in winter. On this particular day the birds were all in the area of the yacht harbor which is immediately adjacent (see may day 5 entry), but two days earlier they were all flying around and swimming right here (see my day 2 entry).

I walk past one like similar to this (newer!) every morning on my way to work. It's right behind the Marina that I have been shooting this week. Great composition

I think these industrial installations are really photographically interesting. Very neat location, and definitely worth more study.

Nice capture of the plant. I am trying to get the right angle of an old mill that we have here. Ther will be no ice in my shot.

i really like your composition. it has nice lines pulling me into the plant. I work for a utility so power plants are interesting to me. i wonder how old this one is?

That place looks like something right out of the 40's or 50's all right. I like the image as a look at where you live. The composition with the rock in the foreground and then the plant going the other way works, and the rail with ice is just good stuff.
