That is neat how the two clouds echo the two buildings. I also like the bright color of the reflection, and see why you would get the camera out for this.

I like the colors in this. That's some muddy looking water. The green on the trees is a nice color touch.

These are pretty cool spiders. We used to call them crab spiders when I was a kid, because that's what they look like. You didn't mention that they only grow to be about a cm or 3/4 inch in length LOL. Spooky looking little critters though.

What a fine story. The light isn't all that bad with the way you have toned the shot to make it look old. It's great that you still have it to go see. In time, like us, it will be gone. It's good to be able to at least keep our images of the things like this that mean a lot to us. You should try to shoot a few with your family in front of it.

That is a very nice finish for this shot. I like the water color a lot, and the low key of the whole thing, though I know that it must have been bright, by the light and shadows. It's a lot like moon light on a full moon night. I think the green in the water is awesome.

Waves - Triptych - Day 7

This is a good trip'. The repetition is sort of like watching the waves lull the mind off into the alpha zone. Too bad these photos don't have sound.
If you were to mirror flip the center shot, then the waves and shorelines would make a sort of S line thru the whole image.

He is a lucky boy to have parents who live where you do, and that are exposing him to the rural way of growing up. I hope that his bent for photography will pay off in later years for him.
