Frozen Culvertby annigComment: This is a very nice bit of winter. The low light level makes it look even colder there. |

Déjà Vu by GermaineComment: Good timing to be there to get this. It looks like he is sweeping with the paddle. |

Jan 15.jpgby Mr_PantsComment: One of the first things that I noticed when I went to London was the contrast in how wasteful people are here and how people there either do not use disposable items, or they recycle most of what goes out the door. It's a much "greener" country there than here.
Nice shot of mundane things that are just a part of life. |

casinoday14.jpgby icu1965Comment: LOL, I guess you could call the moat a "legal loop hole" : )
Like the TV antenna sticking out of it. There must be a caretaker living on it. |

Reflectionsby BAMartinComment: What an awesome light play in the windows in this shot. No sky in the frame is good too, with the hint that it is there on the left edge. |

Pottts Camp.jpgby moondogComment: I like where you live.... a LOT.
A gradient neutral density filter when shooting would help quite a bit with the sky exposure. |

left outby annigComment: I like the roundness of the machinery against the linear and boxy look of the barn in this, and that both items are shades of brownish.
The piece of equipment is a tractor power take off driven blower. It is in a frame/stand which is on both sides, and has a round discharge pointed up. These are used to move grain or hay by blowing it thru pipe, and to dry it by pumping air thru it while it is in storage.
I like the photo. The snowfall is what makes it work for me. |

down.jpgby moondogComment: This view takes me back to when we used to climb the local oil well towers for entertainment when I was a teen. Thanks, and it's a good shot for the POV. With a monopod, you could use the self timer and get a shot way out over the side, showing the tower from an impossible angle to get otherwise.
I have noticed that some of your images are a little dark. Maybe you should check your monitor calibration? |
