That is very rich looking soil. I love roads like this one. The sky is sort of blah, but the rest of this shot is sweet. I see that you have Johnson grass out there too. That stuff is awful. : P

This combo is a difficult one to get just right. It's just right!
The halter is a bit of a distraction from the fairy tale charm in this shot, but couldn't be avoided. Beautiful horse.

I feel that this is more than one shot, but it is just wild with natures power anyway. I do get the feel of the wind roaring across the lake and thru the trees while viewing this image. The one bright spot in the center is good because it helps increase the feeling of foreboding very nasty stormy weather beginning. I love storms.

Love the deep tones in this shot. It seems odd to see such a small cabin and large barn together. The processing makes it look like an old time Christmas card.

I can see a mental picture of you getting out to take this shot, and looking back to see your car sliding ever faster back down the hill behind you. I also like the way the figure and color of the sign works with the snow.

He's watching you. Nice capture by using the line of the edge of the cloud to accent the head in the shot. These great blue herons must be world wide, except for the coldest places. The spotted neck on the local ones means that they are young.

Day 15 - THE NEW CAR!!!

Good for you! Love the little $ sign on the grille LOL.
In 1966, one of my friends had a Suzuki motorcycle, a 50cc when all of the rest of us were riding Harleys and the like. We ragged him mercilessly about it. It would likely be worth as much as you paid for the car by now if it was in mint condition.
I would like to have this shot in the "scratch and sniff" version with the new car smell.
