This is a good macro, for the texture, and because it is almost something you can remember seeing before, but are not quite sure where, or what it was. I think that I would have moved up right into the little rock pile looking area and captured just the chaotic pattern there.
From a little way back from the monitor, it looks like a mushroom patch.

There is something soothing about a little flame like this. You did a nice job of getting this, and the light fall off is good to help with the effect of the flame providing all of the light.

I enjoy seeing how tiny things are made. The red would have looked better if you had touched it up with some bright red nail polish. The wheel is just impressive and the blue is a good BG choice.

That is a complex looking little bud. I also like the back light, and understand the back light blowout at the tip. At that point, you were getting direct light plus the light coming thru the stamens. Good details in the near side of the stem in this shot.

Nice close up. There seem to be a lot of open holes/parts missing, and it looks like it has been bashed around a bit. Excellent light, and focus. I like the tilt for this. It looks like the power switch circuit out of something to me.

That's a pretty little plant. The pattern from this angle takes my eyes around the image. I agree that smaller aperture would make it sharper overall if you used a tripod.
