I'm Looking Through Youby JutildaComment: Refreshing image, and the lyric brings back some crazy days memories. It's nice to see that you are advancing in your processing skills. Good job with this one. |

Glassby ottersdenComment: This was a complex challenge to shoot for, and you found a colorful subject which added interest to the shot. Good job. You are doing very nicely having been on DPC for only a month. |

Santa Monica Pier at Sunsetby TelehubbieComment: This is a grand image. It has all the best elements for a sunset. The sky has some blue for contrast, there is water with the orange reflected, and the smooth water reflection in the edge of the water. It has the sand beach, the pier, and a bonus Ferris Wheel. Very pleasing to see. |

Winter Water Cupby JMartComment: I like the way the BG is coming thru the glass and water in focus in this shot. The way glass bends the light is just something that fascinates me. |

Day-22.jpgby ZeppKashComment: I have seen millions of these in the canals and ponds around this area, and never really stopped to have a close look at one of the buds. Thanks for the close up. I like the centered comp for this shot because of the way the DOF works with the flower getting bigger as it goes away from the camera. |

IMG_2456_bw_sm.jpgby Art RoflmaoComment: The dark horse and the threads of light twisting thru the brush make this an engaging image to view. The processing brings out the contrast nicely and also highlights the the details in the build of the horse. |

Model in the Makingby KatmystiryComment: This subject has a very engaging look in this image. You did well to time and frame the shot so perfectly. The bokeh BG is perfect for this subject. |

Snow Day 17by KatmystiryComment: There was a lot of potential at this location. Too bad the farmer was not so pleasant. I feel that you would have gotten a few excellent images from this scene if you had been able to study it a little, and shoot carefully. For the circumstances, you did get this one good shot. A re-edit, and burn and dodge a little to lighten it up the barn would make it pop to the front of the image. |

Unfurlby KatmystiryComment: This is a very nice view of a single flower in the making. If you had put it in the "Bokeh" challenge, I think that the little light area just left of the bloom would have caused a problem with voters. I like it a lot for the softness of bokeh, and the two color contrast with the very white petals and the dark green all around. |

Day 17 : Retinaby ShaneBlakeComment: The unusual angle allows this to be an inviting shot in a rather candid shot sort of way. The iris stands out nicely, and the normal reaction to look away from an eye looking directly at you is averted. Good stuff. |
