Model in the Makingby KatmystiryComment: This subject has a very engaging look in this image. You did well to time and frame the shot so perfectly. The bokeh BG is perfect for this subject. |

Snow Day 17by KatmystiryComment: There was a lot of potential at this location. Too bad the farmer was not so pleasant. I feel that you would have gotten a few excellent images from this scene if you had been able to study it a little, and shoot carefully. For the circumstances, you did get this one good shot. A re-edit, and burn and dodge a little to lighten it up the barn would make it pop to the front of the image. |

Unfurlby KatmystiryComment: This is a very nice view of a single flower in the making. If you had put it in the "Bokeh" challenge, I think that the little light area just left of the bloom would have caused a problem with voters. I like it a lot for the softness of bokeh, and the two color contrast with the very white petals and the dark green all around. |

Day 17 : Retinaby ShaneBlakeComment: The unusual angle allows this to be an inviting shot in a rather candid shot sort of way. The iris stands out nicely, and the normal reaction to look away from an eye looking directly at you is averted. Good stuff. |

Macro Day 19by socalsteveComment: It's difficult to keep stable with everything when you are shooting this close in. The subject is definitely suited for macro shooting. |

Macro Day 18by socalsteveComment: You should try a macro with that lens. The old manual focus Sigma 15mm fisheye that I have will focus to about 4 inches if I stop it down to around f 8, which gives a nice view into little worlds of flowers and similar colorful things. |

Turtle dinnerby ShutterPugComment: Great name for a pet turtle. I looks like Soup gets pampered. The textures and colors in this work well with the white vignette border. |

Day 18 - Brushby hajekaComment: You're right. It looks just like a broom. Good tech with this shot, and the brush made a good subject with lots of tiny texture. |

Snow on pineby ShutterPugComment: Too cold looking for me. I hope that you had a much better winter this year than you did last year. This reminds me of melting snow that I saw on a mountain in Nov 06 in New Mexico. |

Day 20 - Flashby hajekaComment: I'm not sure what to think of this. My first impression was that it was a much larger item. That's a great 3D effect due to the way the light is working thru the plastic. |
