The Red Shedby tpbremerComment: macronothing has already covered most of what I see in the image. You may want sometime to try setting up with a tripod, and frame up a shot using manual focus, and breathe on the lens. Shoot as the lens is clearing up, and sometimes you can get a nice foggy morning effect. With the stocking, I would experiment with different apertures using aperture priority to see what setting gives the best look, and try to remember that f setting for future shooting. |

burntby bvlindalouComment: Colors and the vertical composition are eye catching. The motion blur make it seem that the scene is much larger than the photo can capture. |

Tampa inboundby DeniseComment: What a pretty shot. Love the water in the foreground in this image. It's a good clear, sharp aerial shot.
The last time that I had to go to the airport at St Pete, at the other end of this bridge, I missed an exit on 275 and had to cross all the way into Tampa and then back across this bridge to get back to St Pete. It was about a 25 mile round. We got there just in time to catch the flight. I'm glad I left early that morning. |

A new dayby psartComment: It's a bummer that you didn't shoot this in the right time frame for the "Dappled Light" challenge. It's a pretty place, and photographed with nice style. |

A Lost Artby dmul91Comment: I like this shot because it connects with my memory of the scent of fixer and developer, and nights spent poring over contact sheets looking for the "it factor" in the images to be printed. |

Snails Eye Viewby Neilos888Comment: Placing something flat on the ground under the camera would have eliminated the out of focus blades in the left side, and also simplified the image at the same time. The light through the blades of grass has a nice effect. I see what you were trying to capture with this shot, and it does meet the challenge criteria.
Welcome to DPC. I hope you enjoy your time on line here, and will learn much about seeing the picture, and how to capture what your mind is seeing. |

Web Geometryby JunieMoonComment: This is a sweet shot. The even size and spacing of the droplets and the angular lines make the image for me. The fly is a bonus. B&W is the right thing for this high contrast to look great too. |

Prickly Circleby JunieMoonComment: This is a bit similar to my entry for the "Bokeh" challenge a while back. The voters seem to have an aversion to cactus for some reason.
I also see the white around the thorns. I know that this was shot a long time ago, and it was a good digital shot for the day. I like the star pattern in the top of the cactus. |
