scooter2.jpgby cablondeoneComment: This is much nicer than the first edit for this image. I can even see the blades of grass under Scooter's nose. It looks like early or late in the day light in this shot. That's a pretty nice looking spaniel. |

scooter.jpgby cablondeoneComment: Spaniels make wonderful canine pets. I agree that this is a bit dark. I see that you have a .mac account and assume that you are using a Mac. The default Mac display setting is brighter than most PC's. I had this problem until I saw a thread about how to adjust my monitor.
The thread where I found out about the Mac cal.

B02 Butterflyby ErikVComment: You are fortunate to have a place nearby to go see and photograph these little creatures easily. I was going to look up the name, but it is not showing up in the site that I use for butterfly ID.
You captured this one sharp and clear. |

Turks Capby FrostyPawsComment: These are beautiful flowers in the wild. I like that you shot this so that one looks like a reflection of the other by using shallow DOF and careful positioning of the camera when you composed the shot. |

Newly Opened Eyesby BAMartinComment: Kittens are such sweet little critters. We have a couple of 2 month old ones here at home now.
Nice little portrait. The fully developed paw with claws is cool too. |

Day 11 - Snackby hajekaComment: Yum, and crunchy yum! The white BG and big DOF make this shot special. |

Day 12 - Landscapeby hajekaComment: I can see that you would enjoy riding your bike through this countryside. The sky looks very good in this shot for a P&S shot. The sharpness is impressive as well. I hope that the problem with your primary camera is solved soon. |

Day 12: Festivalby bobonacusComment: Good job, and the perfect time of day to get the right mix of light. The combo of shooting parameters worked to make this shot look good. I see that you put the camera up overhead to get the crowd for this. I do the same, but with a monopod, and use the self timer. It allows me to put the camera about 12 ft above the ground for this sort of thing.
I am curious about the zoom setting that you used for this shot. I usually post that in the photog's comments box if I am shooting with zoom and have the info handy in the exif. |

Horizon-Smoke.jpgby cablondeoneComment: I don't usually even notice that an image has a border. This shot is greatly improved IMHO by the matching color border, which works nicely with the diagonal composition and colors in the image. |

Day 10 - Excitementby KenComment: A fine story and an awesome storm to go with it. That's a very interesting photo too, with great leading lines and lots of details to see. |
