Wonderful shot of this old Pontiac. It's a 66 model. The processing makes this look like an old slightly faded slide image. Thanks for the flashback.

Great DOF and sharpness in this shot. Little critters are always a joy to see in photographs. You are giving the 100-400 a workout for this side challenge. It seems to be the right lens for this type of shooting.

That is a very nice little pond. I see ferns reflected in the water, so there must be some green outside of the frame too. You must get a lot of enjoyment from this little spot of green and beauty.

Roz, What an outstanding little glimpse of life. Everything about it is right. I would have thought that it was one of your fun overlay images if you hadn't mentioned that it was a reflection. Sweet!

The patch of light in the colors of the flowers, the textures, the broken tree, the DOF all combine to make this image a very nice little world to enjoy. I agree that if you squint to defocus it a little, it takes on an impressionist painting look.
Beautiful shot.

This shot shows what a huge flood event you had at this location. Clean up is a job that I don't envy even a little bit in this case. At least this was not your primary residence. It is good that the place is still standing after all that water washing around it. The cross bracing in the foundation pilings may be what saved it from being washed down stream. I hope that things return to normal soon for all of you.

Very nice HDR to get the shadow detail in this one. My first thought was to wonder how it was lit before I read the details.
It is a very interesting scene, and worthy of the extra effort to photograph it so nicely. The light on, and so bright, in what appears to be mid day is sort of cool too.

Wow! Extreme DOF, Huge color dynamics, outstanding composition, and amazing balance in the patterns of repeating elements.
Only kiddin' : )
Actually it's a pretty cool look at one of the things in every home that we never think much about.
