cabin-2362.jpgby griz210Comment: Well, it's not exactly a "gotta go there" sort of scene, but it is photographed very nicely. I like the clarity and detail in the whole thing. I guess that the overcast sky providing the even diffused light helped with that aspect. |

In motionby cogeroxComment: This is quite serene looking. There is not much color anywhere, but I like the reflections both at the bottom and at the top.
The top ones may be just an illusion due to the processing or maybe it was shot dark and the low gamma is causing the dark line there. Message edited by author 2008-12-14 12:46:57. |

Brown Eyesby JutildaComment: This is a wonderful double portrait. They look like twins in this shot. The light works just right with the dark hair and light faces. The edge of their hair is just barely visible at the top in the one on the left on my monitor.
This is a lovely moment captured. |

Day-12 Winter sunsetby carofoComment: This is beautiful! If you layer a set of lights on the tree on the right, it would make a superb Christmas card. It's a great calendar shot just the way you have it posted. It would look rather timeless if you erase the power line. |

Star light, star bright...by KelliComment: I like the way the inner "outline" of the star is only partly completed, either by the filter, or the shadow in the way it was shot. Pretty cool lookin' star with the fractured look. |

Whatever 11by KenComment: The alien eye? Way cool. LOL about the totally serious shoot, and the totally artsy result. |

Old Shedby JeniYComment: Sweet!
I would like it with or without the overlay. |

Whatever 12by AliciaComment: Cool item. Love the processing so that it looks like he is in grass. |

Kinda Strangeby LadyKComment: This is different, good different. It's sort of like a sunset and moonlight shot rolled into one image.
Check the WB in your camera? It may be set to tungsten. In any case, this is a very catchy looking scene. I think that you have posted a shot of this place a while back. Purply is a fitting word for the effect. LOL : ) |

Southwest Christmasby cginoComment: Thanks for showing us the original too. That's a wild cloud, and it compliments the shape of the tree as well. I see the shapes as the strong point in this image. Your processing added a lot of punch too. The original may work for a good B&W too, because of the shapes in it. |
