WHOOOOO ME ??? (Saw Whet Owl)by patio127Comment: I like the color and the "looking up from the corner" angle of this shot. That's a beautiful little creature, and you captured it's best side.

Saturdayby tnunComment: What an oddity. It's strangely honest, but almost charcoal drawing "artsy" in appearance. There are a lot of details to wander around in within the frame, just as there is in real life. The low angle makes it seem that I would be either lying on the floor, or very short to get this perspective.
Except for the television, the overall scene gives me a "50's ish" appearance or sort of like a chrome plated Norman Rockwell scene that didn't quite get the right moment.
It's different, making it ok with me. |

IMG_1163-dragonfly.jpgby jomariComment: That's wonderful blue in this shot. I also feel that removing the little thread looking tendril in the bottom right would help the shot. Otherwise, it's very pleasing in all ways.
The little critter looks quite tattered at it's wing tips. It must be nearing the end of it's life cycle. |

DSC_1233.jpgby PrashComment: Where did you find a tame seagull? I have not seen many close up shots like this of them. It's nice to be able to study the details of their feathers and colors. I never noticed the red. Maybe it's just that I have never been close enough to notice it, or maybe this is a different variety from what is local here. |

Hawkby stargazer05766Comment: If the BG was full of branches, you did a very nice cleanup to make them disappear. The bird stands out now, with the backlighting. Nice that you were able to keep the detail this good on the shady side of the bird too. |

CSC_1017.jpgby PrashComment: You had good even light for this, and the excellent detail shows off how delicate this little bird is. Nice shot. |
