This is a curiously fascinating image. I think that it has something to do with the shapes of the horses, and the stance of the leading one in particular. It's almost as if it were painted instead of photographed. It's a very good and unique shot indeed.

Cool, a 28 or 29 Ford "AA" truck. I had one of these when I was in high school in the late 60's. It had a flat bed on it, and we got into trouble one halloween because a bunch of my buddies were throwing small tomatoes off the back of it as we drove around town. : ) Thanks for the sweet reminder.
ETA; The local cop stopped us, and made us drive around and shovel up all the tomatoes off main st.

The image quality is excellent for the subject too.

It's interesting that the graffiti matches the verticals on the door panels, as well as the stacks on the power plant in the BG. Good timing to get all of this to compose so nicely.

This is a winner. The "washed out bits" strengthen the power of the dark cloud over the church, and all the lines seem to meet at the door to the church. It's working, don't fix it : )

I like the dark and bleak look of this shot. While looking at this daytime shot, it suddenly dawned on me that trees must be pretty rare in Iceland.

The POV is interesting in this shot, because the lines of the bridge frame the village, and also lead right to the bridge of the freight boat. You don't say where this is, but I am guessing it's somewhere in New England. Detail is good in this shot.
