Cupolaby zeuszenComment: Good angle in this shot. It's interesting that you can see the inside of the dome, and the outside at the same time in one shot. |

The Price of Libertyby Yo_SpiffComment: This was a good find, and a great start for what's probably by over 100 posts, the longest ongoing thread ever at DPC. It's interesting that her arm is tied with ropes. A cloudy sky clone-in would make it even better. |

IMG_1532.jpgby Digital_SusieComment: This is a pleasing blend of nature and city. It's a nicely shot and produced image with excellent color and sharpness overall. |

Downtown.jpgby tnunComment: That's a long harbor. The reflection in the water in the foreground also ties the foreground into the top of the shot. You could do a lot for this shot with basic editing tools. Bring up shadows, and tweak levels and contrast would bring out the reflections in the foreground and more detail in the docks and boats.
You got the exposure value "EV" just right to keep the detail in the brighter clouds. Composition in this is interesting the way the curve in the clouds follows the curve in the harbor. |

Fetch Kateeby GregoryBComment: That seems like big DOF for f4.5 @ 100 mm. Super dog strikes again! Love that Katee. She would be good if she was not so camera shy : )
Thanks for sharing the fun. |

Bicycle Whimsyby scooter97Comment: This is a good find, and the processing takes it up a couple of notches toward being an art shot. Nice stuff! |

18 Power Hungryby ordinaryangelComment: I like the way you mixed the power wire with barbed wire in this shot.
I almost stopped to shoot a tower from this POV today. It is the local buzzard roost. Maybe I will get a shot of it when the sky looks right one evening. There are about 125 buzzards that roost on it every evening, yuck : P |

Sulphur-crested Cockatooby mitalapoComment: This has excellent lighting, and the dark BG works good to show off the "too". I have the Lesser Sulphur Crested variety. The one that I have was very dangerous before I tamed him with a few years of trust building. He lets me scratch his head every day now, but is still nervous about getting on my arm or hand. |
