fog.jpgby vawendyComment: I like the mystery about what's beyond the fence in this shot. You were in the right place at the right time to get this. The fog and fence make good companions.
There is a little spot that looks like sensor dust or a droplet of dew on the lens. It's on the left in the tree branches. It may just be a thick place, or bird nest in the tree.
It's a beautiful scene. |

B-17 bombing runby scooter97Comment: I would love to see and hear one of these in flight. Everything about this shot is just "right". Too bad DPC don't have sound with the images.
My son's flight instructor was a WW2 bomber pilot and instructor. He's 88 now, has his own airstrip and hangars, and is still giving flying lessons. |

Natural wonderby scooter97Comment: "Cool" macro shot Scott! It's not the way I would want my windshield to look, here in Florida.
It looks like some sort of ferns or plant life shot until you open the thumb. It would be even more mysterious if it was rotated 180, to make it look more like ferns. I wouldn't have guessed what it was without your description, even though I studied crystal formation in physics 101 about 40 years ago. |

Rainforest: Blossomsby zeuszenComment: You always seem to make the most of having dark backgrounds for many of your images. It works great with this sweet looking little flower. |

Laurel & Hardy?by GeneralEComment: The title says it all. That's a good connection. I like the dark cloud at the top in this. |
