The history about this in the Film S C is very interesting. I wonder if this is one half of a stereo shot, to be used with a stereoscope? The glass slide size sounds about right.

This is impressive! I remember passing this building when I was in London with RDF TV to appear in an episode of Scrapheap Challenge. We were on the way to Heathrow when we passed it. My first thought was "Darth Vader" LOL.
This is a nice night shot. I like the way they put strings of lights along the riverbank in London.

Judy, he looks like a sweetheart. I am guessing that he is part chocolate lab, and part wire haired terrier. I don't know about normally, but in this shot he has a very intelligent expression on his face.

This is wonderfully serene and very relaxing to view. I like the dock and reflection in the composition too. I have been told that it helps to have the horizon either above or below the center line of a shot like this. It gives it more a more dynamic feel. Maybe the lack of that off center dynamic helps to create the feeling of stillness in this shot, so it's all good.

This would be my choice of the four shots that you posted. The subject is more interesting, and the light is good on them. It's a nice scene, and the lines in the foreground although not that attractive, do guide you up to the swans and the row of trees. The sky looks good too.

I don't know what was around the tree, but a square crop including the whole tree may have made this work better. Still, it's an image that I like a lot and don't know exactly why. Maybe It's because we never have ice like this in Florida.

What a cool and retro looking old diner/gas station. You've made the most of your timing to get the daylight to balance the neon so nicely, and processing is superb with the pastel look.
