Portland Zoo #21by ace flymanComment: I have been pretty quiet about these Christmas light shots, but I like this one a lot. I like the big leading line on the right side, and the way it goes into the tree with the contrasting blue lighting. Nicely done. |

Charmouth Beachby bobonacusComment: You balanced the light pretty good for this. It's nice that there is nothing behind you to make hard shadows from the flash. Glad you had a good trip to the beach. |

Hay Balesby vladoComment: This looks a lot like Montana, east of the mountains where hay is a big business. These things photograph better in early or late day light, when they are casting long shadows. The midday light makes them pop out of the background nicely though, with the higher contrast. |

The Copper Star of Harwich Portby Bear_MusicComment: This is definitely a thinkers image. I am intrigued by the way the light lines seem to be notching the edges of the black. I know that there is an optical illusion with that effect where black and white intersect. The black & white and shades balanced with the copper color in the star are interesting as well. |

Buickby SEGComment: Nice shot of the '56 Buick. HDR makes the flowers in the foreground stand out, and they add a lot to the beauty of the shot with the blue paint on the car for contrast with them. |

Morning After....by NikonJebComment: Your world does look good this morning. That big sun makes things a lot better when it is so cold and snowy out. I like the way the wide lens and small aperture "starred" the sun in this. |

There's a car under there!by KelliComment: It's fun to see this, and not have to think about digging out from under it, or trying to get around with the roads all messy and with wet feet. It makes the world different and exciting for a few days, then it gets old and/or messy. |
