Dec 22 - Circusby hajekaComment: It must be tough to be a gypsy that far north in the winter time. At least they have tents, but I would bet that snow or freezing rain would be a real problem with a big tent.
That is a big dash of bright color in the otherwise drab winter landscape. |

Winter window viewby redpandaComment: This is a big change from the last image you posted ;
If you use tungsten/incandescent white balance, you will not have the orange snow, and the sky will be a deep blue. : ) |

Bagasbas Memoriesby denboteComment: You found this during at an unhappy time. It's a beautiful shot, and the dark stormy sky reflects the emotions that you must have been feeling.
This is a very good shot of the traditional outrigger canoe, and of the simplicity of the lives of the people who built and use it.

Free to Fly!by sfaliceComment: This was a long time ago in digital camera years. It's a very nice shot, and you were fortunate to be there with the right equipment to get the one time event. The shallow DOF works to bring out the bird from the BG. |

Portland Zoo #21by ace flymanComment: I have been pretty quiet about these Christmas light shots, but I like this one a lot. I like the big leading line on the right side, and the way it goes into the tree with the contrasting blue lighting. Nicely done. |

Charmouth Beachby bobonacusComment: You balanced the light pretty good for this. It's nice that there is nothing behind you to make hard shadows from the flash. Glad you had a good trip to the beach. |

Hay Balesby vladoComment: This looks a lot like Montana, east of the mountains where hay is a big business. These things photograph better in early or late day light, when they are casting long shadows. The midday light makes them pop out of the background nicely though, with the higher contrast. |
