orange butterflyby LelezComment: The strong colors, and the way they compliment each other make this shot nice. I am also impressed with depth of field for this shot. |

A Haunting Hurdle by sweetbreadComment: You're a point & shoot wizard! Gotta love those little cameras.
You found the right thing for the challenge, processed it nicely, and kicked butt.
B&W is right for this scene, and the low angle getting the trees behind the bike give it an extra bit of texture that makes a big difference. |

White Ibisby scooter97Comment: You had great evening light for this, and it looks like it was shot over water, the way the light looks like reflected light on the underside of the bird. It's a great shot of a curlew. I like the feather detail in this. |

New York New Yorkby GreycieBooComment: Welcome to DPC.
A little tilt is ok if you intended to do that. For most shooting, try to get the camera level. You can fix it some in processing later, but that will lose some of the frame. |

Out on the Keysby kawesttexComment: This looks like Little Palm Island. We go by there on the way to go fishing from Little Torch Key. It's a pretty classy place. |

The Dockby patio127Comment: How serene looking. There is just the right amount of fog in this scene to give the effect of stillness and quiet. |

Sunsetby bobonacusComment: I like the way the backlit pebbles are picking up the glow of the setting sun in this. The bird is a nice touch too. I try to include birds in many of my sunset shots. |

Speedyby bobonacusComment: That's a fine looking tricycle motor you have there. You managed to get him in a good, natural looking pose. |

Dec 30 - Fireworksby hajekaComment: Now that is an unusual fireworks shot. It's rare to see them in photos without smoke and sparks involved. I like the gold, black, and red color combo. |
