I like the use of DOF here, though you may want to experiment with which cone gets the focus (you probably already have). the tones and colors are very inviting!

Appropropriately dark; nice use of light! Since most of this is in focus, I'm a little unsure as to how dof is clearly used here--although the contrast between weapon and head shows an inhuman side of war that I find intriguing and effective.

Really intriguing abstract. I kind of wish that more were in focus--which may help accentuate the curves of this leaf, but the colors are very interesting, and the point of view very effective.

Super clarity on that droplet! I like the cool colors, too. If the figure in the background were just a teeny tiny bit sharper, it may help put this droplet in context to help your communication better. but very lovely use of color and line and light.

Akuna matata. What a wonderful phrase! Fun image! The shallow dof works here to bring focus to the meercat, though there isn't much in the background to indicate that it is blurry. Interesting use of light.
