bearsby MinsoPhotoComment: C'mon, man-up here Josh !
Looking at the picture you could easily have sneaked around the back of those big trees, scampered up them on to that big flat branch above their head . . shimmied along it, then dropped granola bars down to them and taken action shots as they reached up towards you . . sheesh youngsters nowadays . .

House in the Clouds - originalby bobonacusComment: Larry didn't like to use the word 'competitive ' but if those pesky neighbours though that they had the biggest Wendy house in the area, then he would just have to set their thinking straight . . . |

That's My Dadby toddheadComment: You've caught a priceless moment there, and a very fitting quote to go with it. |

regattaby sfaliceComment: This is a wonderful shot that despite, or maybe through, it's abstractness still conveys strong elements of the wind, water, and smell of the sea. |

Serenadeby tomeComment: Great colours indeed - and the part silhouette of the ship adds to this as well.
Nice shot |

Living Hell by SimmsComment: Hey Mark - just stumbled across this.
This is a really terrific shot both technically and in the depth of it - as in the more you look the more you see . .
First just the guy, then his cap out for change, then his dog across his lap looking as disconsolate as he does, the wet ground he is sitting on, the litter in the middle distance .. it just goes on.
Very strong shot that deserves a wider viewing audience.
eta - outside of the challenge I think I prefer the title you first came up with as it gives a nice tension between the two of them, their situation, and the title
