This almost seems to be a 'shot of two halves'.

On the top there is a bit of a sunset going on and looking nice and gentle, whilst in the bottom half there is water lapping quietly on the rocks.

What I'm not sure of is, for me, whether the two halves become 'one' or stay as two halves. . . nce colours and crop though.

A fun shot that has been taken very nicely.

To refine it further for me, it would have been nice to see all of the plant on the left (rather than have it leaving the frame), and there is a triangle entering from the right by the childs hand that I find distracting.

these are both small points, but for me at least the attention to detail would have just finished this off.

That said it's still a charming picture.

Anni - thank you for those kind words.

This was going to be my shot but having submitted and unsubmitted a couple of times I decided it was late and I would go to bed instead :- )

I wanted to post the shot anyway though because I liked it.
