I really like the strong angles on this shot - it might have been interesting to leave the sky dark and stormy and lighten the building to increase the visual contrast ?

Anni - really nice idea for the challenge. Lovely colours and the spibers web over the hole really helps emphasise just how 'closed' this birdbox is.

I would be interested to see it re-cropped with the box slightly straightened on the verticals and the crop pulled in from the right to lose the side of the box. . .

Jorge - I have just finished reading the write-up and am truly impressed by the level of research, thought, and effort that went into this shot.

The attention to detail, and the technicals are magnificent.

Very impressed.

Perhaps they should have a chart to measure the highest number of 10's received in a challenge - this would surely be up near the top.

only nitpicks would be the eyes are just too dark, and it might (only might) be cropped a little close to her heel.

But all said a lovely shot and nicely lit.

I think there is a lot of hidden detail in here which may have been overlooked by many.

Whether they are actually brothers or not, I like the fact that one has blonde hair and the other brown, one is in green and one is in red, and the great positioning.

A very nice, happy, feel-good shot. It may have been technically better if it had been on a white background - but on the other hand may have taken away from the relaxed expressions . . so who knows :- )

Might be fun to redo on a white background though with a
light border.
