Main form of transport in Oxford.

Curves, levels - selective treatment of ground, feet, and sharp bikeframe (inc USM).

Felt like a border, not sure why.

Oh well now you mention it was jammed between your handlebars and your brake lever that's ok - as you said earlier clearly a safe '"risk-assessed environment " :- P

'between handlebars' ? how many handlebars do you have on your bike ?

You crazy Oxford Academics . always inventing new things !!

:- P

All Oxford students are required to ride double-handlebarred bikes. Did you not realise?? Pffft, such a commoner.

To clarify, I clearly meant jammed between parts of my one set of handlebars and the brake lever. Duh.
;)

Love the motion (shown in the road) and the pop of color (shown in the bike) and the cool looking shoes. As stated below, your POV rocks.
Be careful ... photography can be dangerous. I've just finished 8 months of recovering. Stay safe.

Not mounted as such but jammed in place between handlebars.

I almost threw up a little - get motion sick very easily. :o) But really, this is amazing - totally conveys the speed and motion of being on a bike. Awesome.

WOW, riding and capturing at the same time? You multi-task well. Love the movement and the perspective.

Cool shot -- good motion on the ground and clarity on the bike. Nice colors all around, too -- I like how the gray side of the road almost looks purple.

Yes. In a.. errr.. risk-assessed environment of course :)
method:
Jam my point 'n' shoot's lens in handlebar, shoot a succession of shots at various jamm-able angles, delete the 90% that were blurred or which missed the bike.

Now how did you do this? Great shot!! I really like the perspective. And you'd better watch that shoelace - you're gonna get it caught in the chain if you're not careful! :-)
