Surely an underrated shot . .

Barring the winner it seems my thoughts and scoring were at odds with lots of the final places :- )

This is a really nice shot that grows on you the more you look at it. It has a wonderful depth to the picture both in terms of literal DoF and in terms of seeing all that is in there and what is going on - the life and movement - hustle and bustle of the picture.

Very good - as always . .

This is a great photo - the DoF is perfect and the cow's expression is great - perhaps it suffered a little due to the bird not being conspicous enough.

I know we cant choose these things, but if the bird had been lighter or brighter so it just grabbed the eye a bit more I think this could have gone all the way.

Still a nice shot.

Brad - I'm speechless at where this finished. This was a straight ten for me.

The string of events that had to come together here for you to get this shot - noticing the shot, getting it despite the weather, getting it despite the lighting under the car, the poignancy of it, the very real battle against nature for this little bird, in an urban setting where his shelter is a car and not a tree . . and of course the capture of the snow drifting across the shot.

What can I say ? Magnificent.
