Mystic Gameby Trumpeteer4Comment: A very interesting idea, and I like the little details like the texture on the wall - but ultimately for me, I don't think it quite comes off.
The ball is just to indistinct, and personally I would rather that the side of his face i shadow was either completely in shadow or was illuminated.
That is obviously a personal view though :- )
Good luck in the challenge. |

birthdayby GordonComment: I'm really not sure how this fits the challenge - but looking at the photo generally . .
I like the crop - it helps give it depth,
I like the rocks coming in both side to draw the eye in.
The sky has (potentially) some nice shapes and colours.
However the whole picture looks a little underexposed - so the rocks lose a little definition and the colours in the sky are washed out. As for the person standing there - I'm afraid I'm not really sure what that's about, or why they are there.
Looks very impressive scenary though. |

California Cuisineby h2Comment: Oliver - there's much to like about this, I love how bright the green background is in this, really bold and punchy, nice crop and almost minimillist feel about the fork with just a touch of (nicely arranged) food on it.
The only thing that I'm not sure about if the different colours on the fork itself. I think a clean shiny, silver fork would have picked up more points.
Still a good shot though :- ) |

4ksby timfythetooComment: Tim lovely shot with a simple elegance to it.
Hmmm . . I wonder what a phycho-analyst would say about these two 'Too' shots ?
One simple and straightforward, one bursting with energy and movement :- )
Lol - question is - is a 3rd and 4th the highest family placing we've yet seen on DPC ? You might just be holding a husband / wife record here. |
