Love the writing on the road both leading us into the picture - but also intersecting the main flow of the picture by ninety degrees. Static meets dynamic, and a another counterpoint on the far pavement of the onlooker watching along the line, so we are left with this stream of cyclists passing through the middle of the picture, tense calf muscles and open mouths against a hot still day.

Very nice.
