Man and dogby
MelethiaComment: Another wonderfully 'Melethial' shot, rich in colour, shape and texture, as an almost rich operatic backdrop to the foreground players, a middle aged man and his small scruffy dog.
But the players are needed to bring the whole scene to life, and bring human element and interest into the wider picture, to bring identifiable almost 'mundane' normality to the richness of the colours and items in the shop windows.
There are only two characters here, one man , one dog, forming an 'odd couple' neither making eye contact with the other - yet clearly together, the dog peering expectantly but patiently at his master waiting for him to make a move of some sort, while his master peers into space, lost in thought . .
All this is perfectly rounded off with a quirky PoV.
This really could only be
melethia's work . . and it is a fine example of it.
