I don't think the white t-shirt works with the smoke for a moody look. The lighting is good for it but a darker top would have worked better

Really nice portrait, sharp eyes, good lighting, nice DOF. Only thing I would say is I may prefer it cropped more on the left so the face is less central.

Perfect DOF and nice sharp eyes (all 4!) This is just a little flat for my taste, I'm not convinced by the extra eyes either. That said it's technically great in terms of focus and composition

the lighting here seems to be coming from the bottom left of the shot, I would guess from a reflector given the clarity of the catchlights (but thats a guess and i'm far from an expert). Light from this direction has caused unnatural shadows on the face (we're used to seeing shadows caused by light from above) which I think detract from an otherwise very good photo, both technically in terms of focus and composition and also it's a great shot of the little girl.
