you have piqued my interest. (we are 40 years overdue for a fix-up). the toning and grain certainly emphasize what is happening floorwise. it gives me some thinkings about what you will keep, what you will change. I love the sash windows. I would eliminate the hanging forecupboards. I have never seen them confer any advantage; they be a stumbling block to the eye. (I know I should delete this, but I am too old). good luck.
