A path through the pastby ajalewisComment: One of my favourites, i.e. "mirabile." (I'm not big on technique[yet?], but I think I can see why it wasn't in the top 10, but for me it actually showed something and gave great pleasure). Not sure about the "past" aspect: the path leads to the vanishing point, to the great beyond where we are all headed. |

Simply Redby bubeltrubelComment: Really nice treatment of the colours, and the positioning of flower versus vase provides tension. Red flowers are hard to photograph, and this is well done too, showing just enough variation to offset the smooth blurred vase. |
