Oh yes, I like this, nice balance of light, and all paths leading to the mill-especially the blue path in the clouds, and someone should always be riding a bicycle. (Rule of thirds all the way).

Like the BW and the play of textures. Not sure about the contrast; I suspect all was brighter than the photo conveys. Difficult to judge this sort of picture at this size - a general difficulty at DPC - both for shooting and preparing and for critiquing.

Love the light. Simple two elements of geese and reflections versus third element (sic) of water give the serenity and balance I like in this kind of picture. But I think, contra Erik, that if you cropped just a little off the top we'd get a greater sense of the geese going off into the distance. As well, there is a set of concentric ripples radiating from the bottom right, though they don't continue beyond the lead goose/gander, which would be given greater play and tighten up the composition.

Ditto ErikV; there are a number of interesting elements here -the falls and the fieldstone below the tree as well as the tree that might be worth featuring. (At the moment I'm having great difficulty with my own submission trying to keep my elements in line).
