Truly one of the better bug/flower/seed head combos. Good colour and structure. Angle of view gets both teasel and bug perfectly aligned. You scored well, but merit more comment.

This is the kind of photo that makes me want to start all over again, showing that photography can be art. Most hesitantly I add that the signal ear of corn is somewhat jarring, a little out of sync with the other elements, its less attractive end in prominence and at this resolution (on my monitor?) the rest of it too blurred to give it any grace, and this is the more noticeable because the ear behind it to the right has just enough and no more detail to suggest such grace.
