Day 1: Nettle-eye Viewby bobonacusComment: Very much like the contrast between the rich greeny green of the nettle and the almost desaturated mossy limey greens of the background. (And the blue greens of the daffy strappy leaves, maybe). And I think you have a good idea in the in-your-face (ouch!) of the nettles backgrounded by the definition of the trees. However I agree with most comments that it could do with some realignment. |

Wk_14_B&W_Storm Passingby twmaxComment: Stiger may have something there about the contrast, though the deep blacks always appeal to me. But the scene and the drama of light and cloud are very strong. |

Anemone coronariaby tnunComment: Appreciate all your comments. I'd like to add that this photo kind of made itself. Yes, I was careful to photograph against a plain background, bending and contorting and trying not to step on any other plants, and it was the right time of day - late afternoon, but I really wasn't thinking too much about it. I wasn't trying FOR anything, just seeing what might be seen in it. When it got to this stage in the processing/playing something said Yes, but I don't think it was me. |

Week 12: SF GGB on the DPC GTGby Blue MoonComment: I love the perspective, but for me the colour photo works better - love that kind of weather for shooting colour - and I believe distinguishes and harmonizes the elements of the picture to a greater degree. I find this interesting because I usually prefer black and white. |

Six feetby LevTComment: Hah! My kind of pic. (You might want to clone/burn/dodge out that distracting bit of light between Fido's leg and tail. I know this is a candid, and I'm not a heavy postprocesser, but the composition is worthy of a bit of clean up. Ciggie butt and popsicle stick thing at the right, and whatever else distracts from these wonderfully furred and draped legs). |

Let Sleeping Dogs Lieby mcraelComment: This is a wonderful photograph, not only because your dog looks my late Brandy (predigital), but also because the tail and tennis ball fluff ties them (almost literally) together Hope dog and you are well. (Came across quite by chance). |

Rinsingby IraklisComment: I like this very much. Her expressive face reminds me of Irene Pappas, and indicates to me she is very focused on the sensual elements of the shower/rinsing. |
