Oh, I like this a lot. The flat topped cow just in front of the flat topped line of the hills behind, and so improbably in juxtaposition with the trees. But definitely prefer 'east wind, west cow' as a title; or not just prefer, but would insist on it because it just plain amplifies the dynamic in the picture. How often does that happen?

Very nice one! The expression on the brown one, watching you paddle by, is so human, so casual. The desaturation and/or contrast work very effectively with the shallow DOF: the buildings simply fade into the background where they belong.
