Throughby JutildaComment: This is deep and beautiful, a rare thing in a portrait of one so young. It reminds me of Rembrandt's self portrait, maybe the last one, that I saw many years ago in the Frick Museum. It is in the light and in the eye, taking one beyond time, youth and age. |

Junkyard Dogby JutildaComment: I like this a lot. Your technique has given a classic warmth and depth (and/or perspective) to a noble creature, and it all emerges through the grunge, and I don't think there is anything that doesn't contribute to the overall effect. |
