Like the dog I ponder these deep matters beyond mathematics and language.

I love the furry sepals on these, but there being just two of them makes an awkward composition.

First, this is a splendid assemblage: whether it is just the way you've got the patterns of each rose and/or the canvas effect, I can truly "see" each different petal pattern, but the seeing is highly intensified by their juxtapositioning. And yes, it is so good it is worth attending to the nitpikkers. This certainly does something for me. Would love to see what you come up with by way of variations if you are so inclined.

You have made this Spirea truly attractive, both umbels and leaves - a difficult colour combo to get just so. I do like the way Mr. Bee appears to be sitting showing off his shine black legs.

Maybe the auto-correct overdoes the saturation and contrast? Intrigued by the contrast of the featured bloom and the blue violas, but the gardener in me is dying to know is that a rugosa rose or a peony or something I don't know and how did it get there? (I have a white rugosa under which I encourage self seeded blue violas - a colour very difficult to capture and which of course changes according to the time of day.) ETA: oh so it is a tulip - I was going to include that but I thought naah, the petals aren't tulippy. Great combination.

Bold, almost aggressive, but everything still serves the tulip and water drops.

OK, so it may be a tad soft, but it shows this tulip quite well in its white and pointy virtues.

OH, you have shown EXACTLY what you love here. Definitely Iris, but definitely abstract.
