At the edge of the cataractby david_cComment: This took me a little while to "get" it, but it is such a strong composition and is so beautiful that I just kept staring...I love the positioning of the horizon and the deep blue sky providing balance. Great job. PS, I voted a 9 on this a couple of days ago and I'm just now commenting.... |

Maid of the Mist - Niagara Fallsby LaMasComment: Now how did you coordinate all those folks to wear blue in that boat? And wow that is a lot of people. Do they really let that many folks get that close to the falls in a boat or is this a clever laptop/bathtub rendition? LOL, either way it is a lovely shot! 10 |

Lucky Rainbow on Frosty Dayby jellyooooComment: Stunning light! This is my favorite thus far in an outstanding set of images. The softness of this is just amazing, thank you, thank you, thank you, for not over-saturating the rainbow. 10 |

There is God in everything, you just need to believe .... by zxaarComment: I have this rated as my highest entry for the challenge although somehow I doubt it will score well :) I love the stark B/W and it really meets the challenge well. I don't like the weird looking triangle on the left side that is grey though as it really upsets the balance of the photo. |

Walkabout4.jpgby LouisaComment: Very interesting perspective! I'm thinking that the current DPC challenge had you looking from the ground up which is a wonderful thing. It is always a good idea to look at your subject from these different angles. That is another aspect of DPC that I really like, it teaches you to look at things with these techniques that you might not think of normally.
I love the texture of the cactus and the "softness" of it. It is like you have shown us a diffent side of the prickly old thing.

Walkabout3.jpgby LouisaComment: This is such an interesting photo...you have taken the distracting man made items in this otherwise natural landscape and told a story with it. Compositionally I love the perspective of the diminishing cacti which leads your eyes right to the more peaceful mountains. Very nice shot! |
